January 2019 Meeting The Story of Yakumo Koizumi by Mr. Bon Koizumi with Obento

At the first Meeting of the Tokyo Women's Club in 2019, Mr. Bon Koizumi read a ghost story titled "Mujina" written by his great-grand father named Yakumo Koizumi (Lafcadio Hearn) and talked about him, showing lots of photos and documents. It was very interesting and fun. The weather was mysteriously like Irish one.His talk was followed by Obento lunch. We toasted all the best for the New Year with sake of Meiji Jingu called "Omiki." Mme. Rosemary Kavanagh, spouse of Ambassador of Ireland, proposed a toast. We also welcomed Mme. Matelda Starace, spouse of Ambassador of Italy, Mme. Momoe Fritz, spouse of Ambassador of Micronesia, Mme. Rosa Sanjines de Jallo, spouse of Consul General of Peru, and Mme. Ursula Kazuhara, spouse of former Japanese Ambassador to Ireland. There were 76 attendees in all.
